I made a lover’s prayer
an offering chant
for abundance.

No more safe and sound
or chasing love.

I’m getting ready
to go cloud surfing
to shake the burgundy skies
from their raveling
to be nothing more than
a bird song
until you appear
stand by me
and sing hallelujah
here comes the sun!
